Fighting self hate ( Hair )

                 ¡Curly girl addition!

So here's my thoughts glam fam.
Although there's absolutely nothing wrong with straightening, relaxing, or wearing weaves and wigs because if it makes you feel positive and beautiful then who am I to deny a woman that feeling.

However, I personally find myself wanting to straighten or alter the naturally curly state of my hair for the WRONG reasons.
That's a problem ladies and gentleman. I'll be a monkey's uncle if I allow the negative thoughts of others to be my motivation. If you don't like how my hair looks you can take several seats because it means nothing.

I will on the other hand straighten my hair or wear a protective style with added hair because it's something that I feel is appropriate at the time.
When we stop looking to others for verification of beauty we free our minds of all the "extra" and thus allow ourselves to become confident in our own right.

Ask yourselves,
what is my personal image of a beautiful woman? What makes me personally feel good? Do seek the approval of others as to what they think looks good on me?

Granted somethings really don't look good and I'm the first person to be humble and accept it. But other things are merely the opinions of spectators and haters.
Bottom line is - You'll know the difference.

Be you and ONLY you. Stay glamorous.
